Heather Wells (Owner/Director/Licensed Teacher) (Tuesday & Thursday 1st-3rd Reading Instruction Teacher)
It has been an honor being a part of this community and leadership since it was launched three and a half years ago under the previous ownership of Kaleido Learning Collective. Welcome to Eden with a very similar vision!
I’m a seasoned teacher of 13 + years and certified in K-6th elementary education with a reading specialization. During my last 5 years of teaching, I became department chair of my third-grade team and mentored new teachers. I also helped launch and was the founder of a Christian school at a church in Lancaster, PA.
In 2022, I resigned from my full-time teaching job to have the opportunity to pour into my own children. My husband and I are blessed with three daughters (Scarlett-8, Savannah-6, Shelby-3). I am thankful to be able to spend more quality time homeschooling my children and also be able to support other homeschool families. As a family, we value our faith in God, a healthy holistic lifestyle, appreciating God’s creation, being a part of our church community and striving to be His hands and feet.
I’m looking forward to using my past experiences and my expertise to drive a quality driven program here at Eden. I hope to encourage each child to know their precious and unique identity in God. It’s my prayer that each child at Eden draws closer to their Creator as they are immersed in his beautiful creation. My vision is that each child that attends Eden feels “wild and free to be how God made them to be” by embracing their childhood to the fullest through play, wonder, and adventure.

Stephanie Scheirer (Tuesday 1st-3rd Nature Study & Creative Arts Teacher, Thursday Wildergarten Teacher)
Hey all, kids call me Mrs. Sunflower. I’m a proud homeschool mama who married her high school sweetheart. God has blessed us with three lovely ladies: Sawyer 12, Melaina 8, and Veda 6. Together, we will be entering our eighth homeschool year.
I’m a collector of oddities and hobbies. I have a varied background in photography, fiber arts, herbalism, stained glass, different forms of mixed media and painting. I was awarded scholarships for art education, including at The Balm School of Arts; however, I chose dance as my creative expression at that time. During that season, I was part of a dance competition team. This opened the opportunity to be able to choreograph and teach different styles and age groups for almost a decade. Currently, I aid in various background support for our junior church (ages 3-12), in addition to teaching in the classroom on Sunday mornings. I joined the team just a few weeks after it started 3 years ago. Its wild and loving nature drew me in.
I love the ability to explore and have a creative outlet through natural surroundings and most importantly to grow closer to God in His creation and bask in his glory. Lastly, I enjoy encouraging children to express themselves through various forms of art inspired by the outdoors so together we will enhance their art abilities while fostering an appreciation for nature add a little whimsy and inspire through the learning process of childlike wonders. I can’t wait to get messy with ya’ll!

Julie Romans (Tuesday and Thursday Registered Nurse on Staff)
Hello, my name is Julie Romans. I’m a wife, mom of 3 wonderful children, and Registered Nurse. I received my RN BSN (Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing) in 2009. I became a nurse because I love caring for and helping people. I also enjoy learning about science and health. I am currently entering my 16th year as a nurse, and I am thankful for the many years of experience I have. I have had prior experience working with children in a pediatric setting and I am looking forward to being a resource and using my experience here at Eden.

Talitha Falconero (Tuesday Wildergarten Teacher)
To all families of the Leaf Hoppers Wildergarten,
Forest Kindergarten began in Denmark, and it is a natural way of teaching that is often very child-led. It is play-based. Here is a quote from a Forest Kindergarten student from Northern Ireland: "We get to find wee creatures and look for treasures in nature! Yah, that was GOOD fun!" My vision for this group is to encourage children to explore, get dirty, discover and have "good fun" learning through nature play. Young children have a natural sense of wonder and desire to learn as well as adventure! We as guides will facilitate a safe but adventurous environment. My desire for this Forest Kindergarten "class" is to assist the children to discover their strengths within boundaries as well as grow in their love and respect for God's creation!

Jacqueline Stamy (Tuesday 1st-3rd Creative Writing Teacher)
Hello parents!
I am honored to be a part of the talented group of educators at Eden Collaborative.
A little bit about me: First and foremost, I am a dedicated follower of our Lord Jesus Christ. I am a wife and mother to three wonderful children, who I have the great privilege to educate at home.
Our family treasures the wonder and beauty of God’s creation. Whether we are hunting and fishing, hiking and listening to the birds sing, or surfing waves at the beach, we enjoy spending every possible moment in the great outdoors! Eden Collaborative gives us wonderful opportunities to delight in nature.
My husband and I are active members of our church body, serving as Sunday school teachers and vacation bible school volunteers. I am a founding member of Foundations Christian Co-op, a Christian homeschool co-op offering a Charlotte Mason education. Beyond my leadership role, I am the Literature department chair. As a lover of the written word, I take great pleasure in reading and discussing rich, virtuous literature with my students.
I am deeply invested in providing a quality, Christ-centered education for not only my children, but all of the children in my care. My goal for the creative writing class is for each student to tap into his or her God-given potential to be an eloquent and effective communicator. In the Wildly Creative Writers workshop, students will develop and refine their skills, building an impressive portfolio and confidence in their writing.

Mallory Kessler (1st-3rd Tuesday & Thursday Nature Study & Creative Arts Teacher)
Hello there! My name is Miss Mallory. I am a proud Mama to two; Mila and James, and we are just beginning our homeschool journey. We have lived in three states; New York, Massachusetts and now Pennsylvania and each one has given me an opportunity to teach and help kids grow in many different ways! Some of my teaching experience is teaching preschool at the YMCA and then becoming the Assistant Director of Kid’s Ministry at our church. I am very excited to start this new adventure of teaching art with Eden Collaborative!
I love being outdoors, and exploring God’s creation that’s surrounding us. I can’t wait to see what the kiddos create while watching them grow! -
Jennie Mata (7th & 8th Grade Science Teacher)
Hi Parents!
I’m Miss Jennie and I feel so grateful to be part of the Eden community—both as a parent, watching my boys Paul and Benji, grow in such a special environment, and now as the 7th and 8th grade science teacher!
For over a decade, I’ve worked as a licensed social worker within the fields of foster care adoption and early intervention, supporting children and families through different challenges and seasons of life. I also have the privilege of serving as a youth group leader for middle and high school students at my church, where I get to walk alongside young people as they grow in faith and their identities in Christ.
My passion for environmental stewardship and experiential learning fuels my excitement to teach science! My goal is to create opportunities for science to come to life through outdoor, hands-on experiments and observations! I pray that, through these experiences, students will develop a deeper love of learning and a sense of wonder for how beautifully and intentionally God designed His creation. I’m so excited to be on this journey and I can’t wait to learn and explore alongside the students at Eden!

Rachael Landis (Tuesday 4th-6th Creative Writing Teacher)
Hey y’all! Rachael Landis here but my Eden students can call me Mrs. Landis or by my “wild name” Ms. Rae! I love Jesus over all things and being filled with his love is what keeps me moving! You got to be a mover as a home school momma of 8! God’s goodness has blessed me with the sweetest husband and best friend, Caleb and our babies Gabriella 15, Chloe 11, Tommy 10, Victoria 8, Scarlet 8, Nehemiah 6, Ariel 3, and Eliana 8 months.
I truly cherish the opportunity to point my children back to Him in school as well as all areas of life. God called me on the journey of homeschooling 7 years ago and my hearts been made so full through the learning process. Our crew was part of the “OG” of Wildschool when it started 3 years ago, and I look forward with expectant anticipation on the blessing of loving on your families as I step into the role as a creative writing teacher!
The short list of my favorite things would be: sunshine, sand, seashells, service, Jesus, family, artistic activities, dance, gardening, and coffee! A little about me, I am also a licensed cosmologist and certified Phlebotomist. Over the past few years, the Lord has impressed on my heart the importance of cultivating young women to know their identity in Christ while teaching them these skills. I love ministry opportunities and part of my own story has led me to walk closely alongside discipling a community of young widows. My heart is for people and loving them well while pointing all things back to our loving Savior, Jesus Christ. What better way to do so than in His creation.
This year I will get the chance to know you all better as we open the airways of our artistic flair as we do some creative writing together! “Had a dream that you want to make into a short story?” Time to personify your dreams and aspirations and get them onto the page. I’m excited to meet you all and grow together this next school year!
In service to the King,
Mrs. Landis (Rae) -
Heather Albert (Thursday 4th-6th Creative Writing Teacher)
Hi, I’m Heather, a Jesus loving, coffee obsessed, slightly crunchy, homeschooling, single mama of five beautiful souls, who loves telling stories through the lens of my camera, just as much as with words.
I am beyond blessed to be able to teach my kiddos at home and spend their childhood growing with them academically, as well as in their faith. The last several years have been a ride, and God is faithful through it all.
Our homeschool journey began seven years ago as my oldest began kindergarten. We love exploring God’s world by searching our creek for His creatures, watching birds, and examining the beauty all around us. We enjoy biking, hiking, and exploring God’s beautiful creation with friends.
Professionally, I’m a certified photographer. I have been a working legacy photographer and graphic designer for the last 20+ years. Working for myself as well as designing and shooting photos for multiple studios in the tri-state area.
I’ve worked as an SEO specialist and blog editor for SEO is Sweet, an online company based out of Virginia. And I’ve been teaching photography and a legacy mindset (what lasting impact will you have in the world today), for the last two years to the high school students at a previous co-op.
I am so excited for the opportunity to be a part of this community. I’m looking forward to adventuring with students and teaching creative writing, as we explore creation, learning how to lean into faith in our Creator and how to be kind to the world around us.

Stephanie Johnson (Thursday 4th-6th Creative Arts & Nature Study Teacher)
Hi there! I'm Miss Steph—a passionate follower of Jesus with a heart for sharing His love and truth. My life's mission is to know Christ deeply and to make Him known to others! Since I can remember, I've always dreamed of being a teacher. I pursued degrees in art education and school counseling, but God had a greater plan for my life. At 21, I gave my heart to Jesus, and my life changed forever. I got married, started a family, and discovered my calling to stay home and raise my children to love and serve the Lord.
Thirteen years ago, our first baby boy was born, and my journey as a homeschooling mom began. Since then, my husband and I have been blessed with three more beautiful boys. Over the past decade, I've embraced the incredible privilege of teaching them—not only academic lessons but the values of faith, creativity, and lifelong learning. In many ways, God fulfilled my dream of being an art teacher, and so much more! In addition to homeschooling, I serve at my church by teaching Sunday school and leading worship. It’s an incredible blessing to guide children in their faith and to lift up praises to God with my church family.
Our family cherishes the beauty of God's creation and spends summers exploring it in our RV. From hiking to marveling at the landscapes, we love experiencing the wonder of His handiwork together. Through the joys and challenges of life, I've found that God is always good, and His plans are infinitely better than anything I could have imagined.
I'm thrilled to partner with Eden, bringing my passion for learning and the arts into our homeschool journey. I look forward to nurturing creativity and faith while inspiring a love of knowledge that lasts a lifetime!

Chevelle Pattison (Thursday 1st-3rd Creative Writing Teacher)
Hello Everyone!
My name is Chevelle, and I am so happy to be starting my journey here at Eden with all of you, helping to teach creative writing!
A few things to get to know me better: I am a wife. I help my husband run our small "homestead." (Complete with donkeys, goats, pigs, chickens, sheep, and cattle!) I have worked as a Real-time Captioner for over ten years now writing closed captioning during lectures for Deaf/deaf/Hard-of-Hearing students at various colleges and universities across the country. (So spelling, vocabulary, grammar, and punctuation are a huge part of my job! I hope my enthusiasm and love for the English language will rub off on your children and they will grow to enjoy it as much as I do!) But my FAVORITE thing is getting to be a mother to my son (7)! We just started homeschooling this past year, and it has been such a blessing to be able to spend so much time together! We love to be outside, whether it's going for a walk, having a picnic, exploring a new playground, or spending time with our many, many animals!
Above all else, I love the Lord! I make sure to spend time with Him every day in prayer and scripture as He helps me to become a better partner/mother/friend/Christian than I was the day before. It brings me so much joy to serve my Church community. Currently, I serve in our cafe, our toddler room, help out with Vacation Bible School, and very recently joined the visitation committee to visit with individuals of our congregation who are physically unable to attend church services for one reason or another.
I am so excited to cultivate a love of learning in your child, encourage creative thinking, and help them to grow both spiritually and academically!
Kind Regards
Chevelle Pattison
